His career spans more than a decade across Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Australia, in roles including solution architect, technical trainer, full-stack developer and telecommunications field engineer. That breadth shapes his approach to blockchain: he designs with both cryptographic protocols and the real-world infrastructure they run on in mind.
01
Completing a PhD in Information Science and Technology at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (expected 2027). His research tackles one of blockchain's central problems, scaling securely, through sharding-based architectures, zero-knowledge proofs and decentralised data aggregation for IoT and wireless sensor networks.
A systematic review on securing IoT sensors with sharding-based blockchain, in Sensors (MDPI, Q1, 2025).
A blockchain-based secure data aggregation scheme using zero-knowledge proofs, at I4Tech2025, Pune, India.
Large-scale validation of sharded networks from 1,000 to 100,000 nodes with EVM gas-cost analysis; hierarchical recursive sharding for million-node networks; analysis of address-derivation (“grinding”) attacks against hash-assigned sharding.

Python · Research prototypeA Python simulation of a sharded digital-payment settlement network, comparing optimistic, probabilistic and deterministic finalization under synthetic workloads. The project includes a privacy-oriented transaction validation and batch aggregation prototype, plus a dashboard for throughput and latency analysis.
Research prototype: reported results are simulation outputs, not production benchmarks. Privacy proofs are modelled with SHA-256 hashes, not a deployed cryptographic zero-knowledge proof system.
